Dan joined SFSI in 2016 with an extensive background in wealth management focused on bringing creative solutions to his clients. He brings an empathetic listening style and knowledge of financial planning and investments, along with tax and estate law, in partnering with his clients on individualized plans tailored to their needs and goals.

Dan was most recently self-employed with Stolfa Wealth Management and also has broad advisory experience at Anchor Bank, Merrill Lynch and Piper Jaffray. Before joining the investment world, Dan practiced law and was a tax specialist.

Dan has his B.S. in History and English from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and his JD and LLM in Taxation from the William Mitchell School of Law (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law). In 2004 he obtained his CFP® designation.  He obtained his AIF® designation in 2017.

Dan is active in his community. He is a long-time member of the Delano Lion’s Club and has cochaired the Delano Fourth of July Parade since 2010.
