Susan Stiles is the founder of Stiles Financial Services, Inc., an independent Minneapolis, Minnesota based financial consulting firm founded on holistic advice solutions. In addition to the Wealth Advisory practice, the firm focuses on consulting and advisory services to Retirement and Pension Plans, providing in part, fiduciary oversight, investment monitoring and participant financial education. Ms. Stiles has been servicing clients since 1993 and has been regularly quoted in business and industry publications both locally and nationally.

Over the years Ms. Stiles has been recognized for her contributions to the industry. This includes being named as one of the Top 250 Best Financial Advisors in the country by Worth Magazine in 2001 and 2002(1) (the magazine was sold in early 2003 to Robb Report). She continues to be elected as a Five Star Wealth Advisor every year for the past seven years since inception(2). In 2004 Ms. Stiles achieved the prestigious status as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Top of the Table.  She was also selected as a Trusted Financial Adviser by Minnesota Law & Politics 2009(3). Stiles Financial Services, Inc. was just voted 2014 "Best Investment Firm" by Sun Current readers in Edina.  She is an active member of a number of industry business associations including Financial Planning Association of MN, Center for Due Diligence, ASPPA (American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries), Financial Services Institute, PSCA (Plan Sponsor Council of America), Investment Management Consultants Association, Midwest Pension Council, Edina Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Club of Minnesota.

Ms. Stiles has authored a variety of columns and articles over the years and has been retained for industry speaking engagements. In 2004 she launched a highly successful “Lunch and Learn” seminar series targeting Retirement Plan Sponsors to deliver current information on issues pertaining to the prudent and best practices of managing qualified retirement plans and acting in a fiduciary capacity. She authored a column on “Retirement Readiness” in 2010 and 2011 to help individuals make good decisions to position themselves for a successful retirement. “Be In the Know”, a monthly education forum for retirement plan participants which the firm services, launched in the summer of 2010. She is a MBA graduate of the Johnson School of Business, Cornell University with a concentration in finance and accounting and has a BS from the School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University. Ms. Stiles is a member of Minneapolis Rotary International serving in a variety of leadership roles. She completed a 5-year term as the Treasurer of the Rotary Foundation Board, served as Vice President to the same board, and is now in a two-year term as President.  Ms. Stiles Chaired the Learning Center for Economics, a joint collaborative with the Minneapolis Public Schools, Federal Reserve Bank and Minnesota Council on Economic Education to support financial and economic literacy for 6 years and is currently in the Treasurer position. Her passion for animals has led her to join the board of MN SNAP (Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program). She is past President and Treasurer of the Minnesota Cornell Club and has been a CAAAN (Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network) volunteer for 20 plus years. Ms. Stiles has always been a strong advocate of education and financial and economic literacy at all levels as a means to help individuals improve their lives and she works passionately toward the cause of improving the achievement gap. Ms. Stiles resides in Edina, MN with her husband Jeffrey Robbins and their three dogs. Together they have four adult children.
